For tournament directors

Host events and tournaments that run themselves

Pairings, results and standings without a laptop, a printout or the one person who knows the pairing software. Set the format, and the evening takes care of the arithmetic.

The evening, end to end

Five steps from empty hall to final table

  1. 01

    Create the event

Date, venue, time control and format — Swiss or round robin.

  2. 02

    Take sign-ups

Players register from the event page. Walk-ins can be added on the night.

  3. 03

    Pair each round

Pairings are generated for you and adjust when the field changes.

  4. 04

    Report results

Enter each board as it finishes. Standings update immediately.

  5. 05

    Publish standings

Final tables live on the event page, where players can find them later.

Formats

Pick a format, not a formula

Both standard club formats are built in. Choose one when you create the event and the pairing takes care of itself.

Swiss

For open fields. Everyone plays every round, paired against someone on a similar score.

Round robin

For small, fixed groups. Everyone plays everyone — the classic club championship.

Awards

Results that are worth keeping

Tournament results feed each player's profile. Beat someone you had no business beating, and there is a badge for it.
